Wednesday, July 18, 1962LYTTON STOUT Of Des Moines Dies
Lytton Stout, formerly a well known resident of the Patterson community, died Monday, July 9, 1962, at his home in Des Moines. He had been ill 18 months with cancer. He was 67 years of age.
Mr. Stout was born near Patterson, a son of Elvin and Margaret Seymore Stout. He lived at Patterson and Winterset before moving to Des Moines about 15 years ago.
During World War I he served in the U. S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Stout; two sons, Joseph Stout of Sierra Vista, Calif., and Donald Stout of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Otho Stout of Winterset and Rufus F. Stout of Wilbur, Oregon.
Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Hamilton funeral home in Des Moines. Burial was made with military honors in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
