ROSETTA BARE Dies at 94

Rosetta Bare, 94, a resident of Madison County for 30 years died Thursday, August 9, 1973 at Madison County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Bare was born December 19, 1878, in the state of Illinois, the daughter of John and Rachel Soden Staley. Her husband, Benjamin Bare, preceded her in death in 1951.

A member of the First United Methodist Church of Winterset, Mrs. Bare was active in church circles. She was occupied as a housewife during her residence in Madison County.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Florence Simpson of Winterset; three sons, William Conner of Moah, Utah, Charles E. Conner of Oak Park, Illinois, and Walter E. Conner of McHenry, Illinois.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Bare was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bare were conducted Saturday, August 11 at 10 a.m. from the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, the Rev. Paul Bousfield officiating.

Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
