Death Here Of Mabel McBride

A native of Madison County, Mabel Mary McBride, 83, died Monday, September 13, 1976 at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She was born October 17, 1892, the daughter of John R. Wright and Elizabeth Barnett Wright.

Married to Ray Eyerly on December 28, 1910 in Winterset, Mrs. McBride remarried to Jesse McBride on May 5, 1961 in Missouri after Mr. Eyerly's death in 1951.

A housewife affiliated with the Methodist church, Mrs. McBride is survived by her husband, Jesse; three daughters, Wilma Wright of Earlham and twins Aurola Seymour of Prole and Iola Wilson of Chetwynd, British Columbia; one stepson, Richard McBride of Hubbard, Oregon; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mabel Mary McBride were conducted Wednesday, September 15, at 2 p.m. from Winterset Methodist Church, Rev. Paul Hann officiating. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.

Obituary

Mabel Eyerly McBride, was born October 17, 1892, to John A. and Elizabeth Barnett Wright in Madison county. She was a lifelong resident of the county and was living in Prole at the time of her death on September 13 at the Madison County Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 83 years old.

On December 28, 1910, she was married to Ray Eyerly in Winterset. After his death in 1951, she married Jesse McBride in Missouri on May 5, 1961.

A housewife affiliated with the Methodist church, Mrs. McBride is survived by her husband, Jesse; three daughters, Wilma Rhine of Earlham and twins Aurola Seymour of Prole and Iola Wilson of Chetwynd, British Columbia, Canada; one stepson, Richard McBride of Hubbard, Oregon; 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted September 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winterset United Methodist church with the Rev. Paul Hann officiating. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
