Florence Ann Simpson, 94, died Friday, March 20, at her residence. Services were held March 22 at the chapel of Hart's Mortuary with the Rev. Loyd Landrum officiating.
She was born April 30, 1897 in Dickens, Neb. and married Fred Fickes. She lived most of her life in Winterset, moving to Macon, Ga. seven years ago to live with her daughter, Dorothy. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Winterset.
Surviving are her daughter, Dorothy Barr of Macon, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
