Lester Gray, 89, of Winterset died of a respiratory ailment Sunday at Winterset Care Center South. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Winterset cemetery.
Mr. Gray lived in Madison County all of his life and retired from farming.
He is survived by three daughters, Wilma Eggman of Creston, Rita Eyerly of Winterset and Janice McCauley of Trinity, N.C.; a brother, Elbert of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
