MRS. GEO. LEITCH DIES
St. Charles Special; February 2:
Mrs. George Leitch passed away at her home here Friday morning after a short illness. She had lived here for a number of years and was highly respected by all who knew her. In her young life she was a school teacher for many years, and had always been a great reader and kept up with all current events of the times. Only ill health and the infirmities of old age ever kept her away from church services and she was teacher of the Bible class and also temperance superintendent of the Methodist Sunday school for many years. She passed quietly to rest early Friday morning on her eighty-third birthday. She leaves her aged husband, one daughter, Mrs. Elouise McHugh of Spencer, and one son Allan of Wisconsin who was unable to come. Rev. Millen assisted by Rev. J. F. Arnold conducted her funeral services at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon and she was laid to rest in the St. Charles cemetery.
