Jerry W. Lowe, Ellston

Services for Jerry W. Lowe, 65, were held Mon., May 18 at Ellston United Methodist Church. He died of complications of Lou Gehrig's disease on May 14 at his home.

Born in Truro, he had lived in Des Moines for several years, moving to Ellston in 1988. He was retired from IMT Insurance Company, was a World War II veteran and a member of College Avenue Christian Church, Des Moines.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia; a son, Craig of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a daughter, Patty Lowe of Des Moines; a brother, Dick of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Fields Cemetery, Clarke County.
