Funeral services for Don Strong, 54, were held Thurs., April 25 at Vieth Funeral Home, Oakland, Ia. He died April 21, 1991.
He was born in Lyman, Neb. on November 12, 1936 to Guy and Eva Strong. He was a mechanic and car enthusiast most of his life. He married Janet Capps in 1981, they moved to Marne two years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Janet of Marne; children from his prior marriage to Jeannie Edwards, Jody Breeding of Winterset and Jami Anderson of Lorimor, and Jeff and Jim Strong, both of Winterset; two step-daughters, Belinda McMann of Onslaw and Catrina Watson of Placerville, Calif.; two step-sons, Lou Carmen of Deadwood, SD and Tony Carmen of Spearfish, SD; two sisters, Nola Morris and Bonnie Weiderback, both of Marne; and ten grandchildren.
Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.
