Livingston Rites Held

Funeral services were held last Thursday from Collins Funeral Home in Winterset for Clarence E. Livingston of Winterset whose death had occurred at Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 8.

Mr. Livingston was 68 years of age at his death. He was born in Madison County August 15, 1904, a son of Frank and Eva Cornelison Livingston. He was a retired farmer, having lived in the Hebron area for many years. Much of his early life was spent in the Lorimor area.

He was married December 19, 1925 to Blanche Ham, who survives him. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lila Jackson of Tingly; four sons, Jack Livingston of Lorimor, Rex Livingston of Fontanelle, Gene Livingston of Menlo and Hugh Livingston of Milo; his mother, Mrs. Eva Livingston of Winterset; 20 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He also leaves two brothers, Ture Livingston of Des Moines and George Livingston of Lorimor; and three sisters, Irene Livingston of Winterset, Mrs. Noma Strubhar of Des Moines and Mrs. Marjorie Corsbie of Roland.

The Rev. Newton Coughenour, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Winterset, condueted the services here Thursday. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
