Margaret Jean Libby, 87, of Streator, Ill., died Aug. 7, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 13, at Winterrowd Funeral Home in Streator. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park also in Streator.

Margaret Libby was born Nov. 25, 1916, in Winterset to Edward and Fawn Mertle (Haynes) Hulin. On July 3, 1933, she married Francis Libby.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Jerry; a sister, June Paullin; three brothers, Max, Ed and Keith Hulin; and three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Barnes of Streator, Ill., and Phyllis Hilderbrand of Sacramento, Calif.; six sons, John Libby of Dixon, Mo., Jim Libby of Hanover, Minn., William Libby of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Dick Libby, Kenny Libby and Larry Libby, all of Streator, Ill.; two sisters, Jane Drake of Dexter and Thelma Kirkman of Redfield; and 43 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
