Funeral services for Myron Edward Strable, 64, a native of St. Charles, Iowa, were held Feb. 18 in Richmond, California.
Mr. Strable had been living in El Sobrante, Calif., since 1949. For the past 22 years he worked as a machinist and was last employed by the R W. Scott Co.
A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the El Sobrante Veterans Club, the Veterans of Foreign Ward Post 6421 of San Pablo and the Operating Engineers Union.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Strable and wife Bernice.
He is survived by his daughter, Judith Hansen of Milford, Calif.; a son Glenn Strable of Milpitas, Calif.; his mother, Opal Strable of Norwalk, Ia.; three brothers, Manson Strable of St. Joseph, Mo., and Harrison and George Strable, both of Montezuma, Ia.; a sister, Garnetta Boughton of Booneville, Ia.; and four grandchildren.
The Rev. James S. Murrell of Calvary Assembly of God in San Pablo conducted the services. Committal was at Rolling Hills Memorial Park in Richmond. Attending services were Garnetta and Loren Boughton of Booneville and Manson and Eva Strable of St. Joseph, Mo.
