DEAN STRABLE Of DeSoto Dies

Dean E. Strable of DeSoto died Monday, May 19, 1980, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, following an 18 month illness. He was 60 years of age.

He was born in Warren County Nov. 11, 1919, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Strable. He married Ethel Mae Howell Feb. 11, 1942. They farmed in Warren and Madison Counties for 28 years. For the last 12 years he has lived in DeSoto and worked at Cadco, Inc. in Des Moines.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters and two sons. Mrs. Bonnie Fast of DeSoto, Ia., Mrs. Nadine Sparks of Norwalk, Ia., David of Minburn, Ia., and Dennis of Des Moines. He also leaves seven grandchildren and four brothers and two sisters.

Services were held May 22nd at Faith Lutheran Church in Adel with Pastor Alen Schweiger officiating with burial in Montpelier Cemetery near Patterson.
