Roy David Lehmer, 41, of St. Charles died February 23, 1994 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were held February 26, 1994 at the Methodist Church in Peru. Terry Elder of Truro and Leroy Kelderman of Marquisville officiated the ceremony. Burial was at the Peru cemetery.
He was born February 14, 1953 to Louis Aloysius and Eula (Buecher) Lehmer. He married Tala Jean Kimzey on December 1, 1973 in New Virginia. He was a farmer and lifetime resident of St. Charles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant daughter; one sister and one brother.
Surviving relatives include his wife; one daughter, Shenna Lehmer of St. Charles; three brothers, Louis D. Lehmer and wife Barbara of Columbia, Mo., Jerry Lehmer and wife Carol of Des Moines, and Thomas R. Lehmer and wife Mary of Peru; and six sisters, Delores I. Carney and husband Dennis of Urbandale, Virginia L. Randall and husband Jack of Casey, Rita Winkel and husband Art of Monument, Colo., Gwendolyn E. Lafferty of Monument, Colo., Linda Sue Callison of Longmont, Colo., and Alberta Marie Callahan of Omaha, Nebraska.
