Eula W. Lehmer, St. Charles

Services for Eula Wyletta Lehmer, 70, St. Charles, who died Sunday Oct. 5, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, were held Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the United Methodist Church in Peru with the Rev. Anna Louise Weisenflauh officiating. Burial was at Peru Cemetery.

Born on May 12, 1916 at Sioux City, she was the daughter of Leonard H. Buecher and Mable Lydia Malcolm. She was married March 1, 1935 in Grant City, Mo., to Louis Lehmer, who survives.

She was employed for 14 years as a cook at Hillcrest and Broadlawns.

Other survivors include sons, Lewis and wife Barbara of Columbia, Mo., Jerry and wife Carol of Peru, Thomas and wife Mary of Peru and Roy and wife Tala of St. Charles; daughters, Delores Carney and husband Dennis of Urbandale, Virginia L. Randall and husband Jack of Adel, Rita St. Pierre of Monument, Colo., Gwendolyn Lafferty and Linda Sue Callison, both of Longmont, Colo., and Alberta Marie Callahan and husband Gordon of Omaha; 24 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three half-sisters and two half-brothers.
