Virgil Havens of Winterset died Tuesday, April 28, 1964, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 64 years of age.
Mr. Havens lived most of his life at Greenfield, but moved to Winterset about 10 years ago, to live with his son, Harry Havens. His active life was spent in farming.
In addition to the son, Harry of Winterset, he leaves another son, Marion Havens of Shannon City; a daughter, Mrs. David Branam of Adel; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m., from the Bickford-Murray Funeral Home in Greenfield, with burial in the Greenfield cemetery
