Death of Clarence M. Lee

Clarence M. Lee of Lamar, Colo. died on Jan. 19th after an illness of 24 hours. He was taken ill suddenly, an acute heart trouble causing his death. Mr. Lee was born in Macksburg on May 8, 1866. His father was William O. Lee, one of the pioneer business men of Lamar, who died several years ago.

Mr. Lee engaged in business in Chicago after leaving college, then in 1889 he went to Lamar to join his parents. For 11 years he had been president of the Lamar National Bank. He had held many positions of honor in his city, was a 32nd degree Mason and an Odd Fellow.

Mrs. Lee, one daughter and four sons survive him; also a brother, Charles W. Lee of Pueblo, and two sisters.
