4-YEAR OLD BOY DIED THURSDAY

Jackie Lewellan Succumbs to Heart Ailment at Iowa City

Jackie Lewellan, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lewellan of Winterset, died in the state hospital at Iowa City last Thursday.

Death was due to a heart ailment, which was aggravated by a throat infection suffered in February.

The child was born in Winterset on July 6, 1939, and lived all his short life in this community. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Marjorie, and two brothers, Claire and Robert.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
