MRS. EMMA GILBERT OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Long-Time Resident there Succumbed Tuesday of Last Week

St. Charles---(Special)---Mrs. Emma Gilbert, a resident of this community for many years, died on Tuesday of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Johnston, following a long illness.

She is survived by her four daughters: Mrs. Rosa Reither of California, Mrs. Lida Tusha of Roswell, N. Mex., and Mrs. Alice Reither and Mrs. Ola Johnston of St. Charles.

Funeral services were held from the Methodist church here last Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Michael Millen. Burial was made in the cemetery at New Virginia.
