Edgar Keith Lathrum, 84, of Truro, died February 2, 1994 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services were February 5, 1994 at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Terri Elder officiating. Burial was at Young Cemetery in Truro.

He was born July 4, 1909 in Truro to Jessie and Mattie (Cole) Lathrum. He married Isabel Gladys Bryant on August 17, 1935 in Des Moines. He was an engineer for Natural Gas Pipeline for 40 years and was a lifetime resident of Truro.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Surviving relatives include his wife; three daughters, Gladys Armstrong and husband Robert of Portland, Ore., Marjorie Warren and husband Ronald of Hazelwood, Mo., and Janice Wattonville and husband Eldon (Bud) of St. Charles; one sister, Genieve Nichoson of Sacramento, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
