MRS. AUDIE SWEENEY Services Saturday

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home here for Mrs. Clarence Sweeney of Winterset, whose death occurred here Wednesday, Feb. 15th. The Rev. William E. Bowles, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset conducted the services. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Mrs. Sweeney was 70 years of age at her death, and had been a resident of Winterset since 1936. She was the former Audie Mason, daughter of Milton and Kathryn Crawford Mason. he was born at Carlisle Nov. 7, 1896.

She was married to Clarence W. Sweeney on April 14, 1923, at Nevada, Ia. His death occurred in 1965.

She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Zink of Des Moines; a granddaughter, Linda Lou Zink of Winterset; and three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Fidler of Des Moines, Mrs. Clare Pitts of Winter Haven, Fla., and Mrs. Iva Polson of Wellman. Two brothers, Lloyd and Elmer Mason, preceded her in death.
