JOHN KING OF LEE TOWNSHIP PASSES

Well-Known Farmer Dies at Nursing Home in West Des Moines

John King, well-known Lee township farmer, died on Wednesday of last week at the Hammond Convalescent hospital in West Des Moines. He was 69 years of age.

Mr. King is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth King; a son, Cornelius King; a daughter, Mrs. Marcella Cassidy of Solomons, Md.; three brothers, William King of Booneville, Frank King of Prole, and Lawrence King of Cumming; a sister, Mrs. James Hanrahan of Des Moines; and one grandchild.

(Burial was made in the St. Patrick's cemetery)
