MRS. ELTON FAUX Died Here Sunday

Mrs. Elizabeth Faux, 28 year old mother of five small sons, died at her home in Winterset Sunday after a lingering illness. She had been in failing health for the last three years.

Mrs. Faux was the former Hazel Elizabeth Cole, and was born at Weldon on June 2, 1918. She was married to Elton Faux on Oct. 25, 1933. They were the parents of five sons.

As a girl, she had united with the Methodist church at Indianola, and was a member there at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband; the five sons, Willis, Stanley, Thomas, Dale and Jackie; her mother, Mrs. Emma Cole of Winterset; five sisters, Mrs. Vera Reed of Winterset, Mrs. Minnie Madlage of Des Moines, Mrs. Zelam Consolver of Des Moines, Mrs. Marie Kehler of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Ella Armstrong of St. Charles; and two brothers, Sanders Cole of Oregon and Jimmie Cole of California.

She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Scott Cole of Winterset, who died while serving with an American paratroop unit in the invasion of Holland.

Funeral services were to be held here Wednesday from the Winterset Church of Christ, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, of Des Moines. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
