MAGGIE KUHNS DIES AT CRESTON

Funeral Services Held on Monday With Burial at Winterset

Mrs. Ernest Kuhns of Creston died Friday, Dec. 1. She was 58 years of age and had been in the hospital since Nov. 16.

Mrs. Kuhns had lived at Creston since 1932. She was the former Maggie Page, daughter of Albert and Anna Cooper Page, and was born in Ringgold county April 24, 1909. She was married to John W. Jackson on Feb. 2, 1930.

On April 9, 1955, she was married at Orient to Ernest Kuhns, who survives her.

She was a member of the V.F.W. auxiliary at Creston and the Christian church at Benton.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kuhns is survived by seven sons, Harold C. Jackson of Winterset, Albert E. Jackson of Security, Colo., Harold Kuhns of Des Moines, Lester Kuhns of Davenport, Russell Kuhns of Creston, Ralph Kuhns of Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert Kuhns of Winterset; and two daughters, Mrs. Don Saunders of LaPuente, Calif., and Mrs. John Baker of Winterset. She also leaves 28 grandchildren; her father, Albert Page of Mt. Ayr; three brothers, Harold Page of Diagonal, Albert Page of Glenwood and William Page of Emerson and a sister, Mrs. Harley Robinson of Sycamore, Ill.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Keating-McKasson funeral home in Creston, conducted by the Rev. Azel L. Smith, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Creston. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
