Lois Klingbeil, Winterset

Lois Klingbeil, 57, of Winterset died Aug. 31, 2000, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Graveside services were held Tuesday Sept. 5, at East Side Cemetery in Estherville with Pastor Glenn S. Bohmer officiating.

Lois Klingbeil was born March 10, 1943, in Winterset to Noah and Hazel (Husted) Oglesbee. A graduate of Winterset High School, she married Henry Klingbeil on April 26, 1969, at Camp Sunnyside in Des Moines. Following their marriage, they moved to Estherville where they made their home. In 1994, Lois moved to Winterset Care Center South. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Estherville, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a nephew.

She is survived by two sisters, Nola Gilmore (husband Bill) of Albuquerque, N.M. and Evelyn Deets (husband Charles) of Winterset; a brother, Don Oglesbee (wife Joyce) of Frankton, Ind.; 31 nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.
