Steve M. Turk, 77, of Winterset, died of cancer Oct. 16, 1996 at Care Center South in Winterset. Graveside services were held at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. The Rev. Bill Branson officiated the Oct. 21 services.
He was born in Oralabor, Iowa on Nov. 30, 1918 to Anthony and Victoria (Milovich) Turk. He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of Winterset for the past 30 years, coming from the Des Moines area.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Surviving relatives include three nephews; and two nieces.
