MRS. PEARL NIBLO PASSES SUDDENLY

Stricken Saturday Night at Home of Brother Near Pitzer

Mrs. Pearl Niblo of Winterset died suddenly last Saturday at the home of her brother, Hayes Hamilton, near Pitzer. She had gone to bed that evening, taking a book with her, and was found next morning with the light still burning and the book in her hand. She had evidently been stricken while reading.

Mrs. Niblo was the former Miss Pearl Hamilton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hamilton of Winterset. She was married to John Niblo in 1904, and they lived many years at Huron, S. Dak. Mr. Niblo died in 1937, and in recent years she had made her home with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Maxwell of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

MRS. PEARL NIBLO DIED HERE FEB. 5

Mrs. Pearl Niblo, former resident of Huron, South Dakota, died Saturday, February 5, at the home of her brother, Hayse Hamilton, near Pitzer.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 8, at the Ramsey–Richards funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Tom Foglesong was in charge of the service and interment was made in the Winterset cemetery. Pallbearers were Clifton Hamilton, Charles Taylor, Dale Niblo, Melvin Alexander, Fred Niblo, and Tom Edwards. Mrs. Bird A. Wiley furnished the music.

Pearl Hamilton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hamilton, formerly of Winterset, was born July 31, 1881. She was united in marriage to John Niblo in 1904, who preceded her in death on may 25, 1937. For several years she has made her home with her sister Mrs. W. H. Maxwell.

She is survived by one brother, Hayse Hamilton and a sister, Mrs. W. H. Maxwell of Winterset.
