Extended Illness Culminates in Death at Winterset Hospital
Mrs. John A. Ussery of near Winterset died at the local hospital Monday after an extended illness. She was 50 years of age.
Mrs. Ussery was born May 14, 1894 in Lecede county, Missouri. She was the former Elsie Nora Breech, daughter of J. F., and Nancy Ellen Breech.
She lived in Missouri until her marriage to John A. Ussery in 1918, after which they moved to a farm near Winterset.
She is survived by her husband; her parents, of Patterson; three brothers, Dennis, Raymond and Glenn Breech, all of California; and three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Coin of Des Moines, Mrs. Walter Walston of Adel, and Mrs. Orvil Wagner of Milo.
Funeral services were held here Wednesday from the Anderson Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Montpelier cemetery at Patterson.
