Wednesday, December 4, 19466-YEAR-OLD BOY DIES NEAR ST. CHARLES
The 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nuzum of Near St. Charles died suddenly at his home Sunday morning after a brief illness.
According to information available here, the death was caused by acute indigestion.
Funeral services and burial for the boy were held this Tuesday.

Richard Edmund Nuzum, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nuzum, passed away early Sunday morning, Dec. 1 after severe convulsions, believed to be caused by eating an excessive amount of honey. The funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the St. Charles Methodist church, with Mr. B. Mott in charge of the service, assisted by the Rev. Robert Carothers, local pastor.
Richard is survived by his parents, one brother, Raymond and seven sisters: Mrs. L. J. Welch, Mrs. J L. Michaels, Mrs. H. E. Johnson and Alixe, Charlene, Charlotte and Carolyn, also his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Rush and J. W. Nuzum.
