Bertha Mary Trevillyan, 90, of Lorimor, died of a respiratory ailment Aug. 14, 1997 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Graveside Services were Aug. 18 at the Lorimor Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Branson officiating.
She was born in Des Moines on July 9, 1907 to John Lloyd and Ida Amanda (Osburg) Reel. On Jan. 8, 1924, she married Richard E. Trevillyan at Waukee. She was a homemaker and lived in the Lorimor area since 1944 after moving from West Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers; three sisters, and one daughter-in-law.
Surviving relatives include six sons, Dick Trevillyan and wife Betty of Bozeman, Mont., Ray Trevillyan of Lorimor, Chuck Trevillyan and wife Donna of Des Moines, Delbert Trevillyan and wife Jackie of Winterset, Jerry Trevillyan and wife Nadine of Winterset, and John Trevillyan of Des Moines; one daughter, Phyllis Williams and husband Bob of Winterset; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
