FORREST KING OF TRURO DIES

Forrest R. King, a life-long resident of Truro, died Thursday, April 4, at a Des Moines hospital. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. King was born in Madison county April 11, 1905, a son of Thomas E. and Carrie Reynolds King. He was a veteran, and a member of the St. Charles post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are a brother, Leonard King of Truro; and three sisters, Mrs. Jenny Holmes of Des Moines, Mrs. Ben Christophel of Alpha, Minn., and Mrs. Irma McNeely of Bull Shoals, Ark.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Kale Funeral Home in Truro, in charge of the Rev. Richard Hempenius. Burial was made in Hartman cemetery.
