Elizabeth I. Kilmer (82) died October 10, 1993 in Fort Madison Ponnumity Hospital in Fort Madison. Services are being held today, Wed. Oct. 13, 1993 at Vigen Funeral Home in Keokuk with the Rev. Bill Branson, pastor of the Nazarene Church in Winterset, officiated the ceremony. Burial will be at the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose.
Elizabeth was born July 5, 1911 to Charles R. and Irene Hancock in Montrose. She married Jesse Kilmer of Winterset on Oct. 16, 1951.
She resided in Winterset since her marriage. She was employed at Sheaffer Pen Co. in Fort Madison and at Madison Memorial Hospital in Winterset.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Russell, Leonard, Floyd and Kenneth; three sisters, Freda, Lucy and Hazel.
She is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. Thelma (Charles) Scheweite of Keokuk; one brother, Ralph Hancock of Montrose; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
