Services Held For Paul Kile

Funeral services for Paul W. Kile, 81, of Winterset Care Center North were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 15, at Collins Funeral Home. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery with Rev. Byron Ayers officiating. Mr. Kile died Tuesday, June 12 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital.

The son of Henry W. and Maria Whitcomb Kile, he was born on July 28, 1897 at Beatrice, Neb. He was married to Irma D. Rehard on May 22, 1923 at Creston. They lived in the Winterset area many years where Mr. Kile farmed until his retirement in 1970. He attended the Union Chapel Church in South Township.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter.

Surviving are his wife Irma; three sons, Wayne Kile and Gail Paul Kile, both of Winterset and Richard Kile of Des Moines; three daughters, Mrs. Joan Mealey of Des Moines, Mrs. Evelyn Coffman and Mrs. Norma Shaw, both of Winterset; a brother, Eugene C. Kile of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Almena Kile of Des Moines; ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
