Raymond E. Tracy of rural Winterset died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1981, at Des Moines General Hospital. He was 79 years old.
Born July 8, 1902 in Adair county, he was the son of Mrtin and Emma Reis Tracy.
He moved to Madison county in 1945 where he farmed until 1973. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winterset.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Marie Bindel, and an infant brother, George.
Survivors include three brothers, Martin of Greenfield, Thomas of Des Moines and Richard of Peru; and four sisters, Margaretha Tracy of Winterset, Irene and Elma Tracy of Peru, and Marella Miller of Norwalk.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery, Bridgewater.
