Death of W. F. TRACY

W. F. Tracy passed away on last Friday, following an illness from an ailment from which he had suffered for more than a year past. He was compelled to leave the farm a year ago, and move to Winterset.

Mr. and Mrs. Tracy moved to the old Roy homestead on the Bluffs road, where he died on last Friday.

He was a nephew of the late Geo. Tracy, one of the very early settlers on the Bluffs road and was a man held in high esteem by his neighbors.

W. F. TRACY OBITUARY

W. F. Tracy, son of Frank and Mary Tracy, was born Feb. 10, 1862 near Wayne Town, Ind. He moved from there with his parents to Illinois, then came to Iowa. For a time he lived at Hebron, Nebr., and here was married to Miss Jennie Innis on Jan. 24, 1892. They moved to Iowa, where they have lived since.

For the past two years he has not been in good health, and gradually failed until a few days before his death, when he took much worse and passed away on March 19, 1920.

He leaves to mourn his death the wife, three brothers and other relatives and many friends.

The funeral services were conducted from the Hooten school house by Rev Jackson Giddens, and the remains were laid to rest in the Hooten cemetery.
