MRS. FRANK CREGER NATIVE OF ILLINOIS
Former Peru Resident Died at Jefferson on Nov. 10
Mrs. Frank Creger, whose death occurred at Jefferson on Nov. 10, was a native of Illinois, where she was born at Peoria on March 31, 1869. She was the former Cynthia Ann Powell.
She came to Iowa with her parents when she was 10 years old, and much of her life was spent near Peru in this county.
She was married Sept. 16, 1890, to David Franklin Creger. They were the parents of two daughters and three sons.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Tomlinson of Victorville, Calif; three sons, Merl Creger of Odessa, Tex., Marvin Creger of Jefferson and John Creger of Waukee. Her husband died in 1938, and a daughter, Mrs. Marcia Schilling, in 1920.
Funeral services were held from the Central Church of Christ at Jefferson on Tuesday of last week, in charge of the Rev. M. Dwight Walker. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.

Funeral services were held in Jefferson Tuesday for Mrs. Frank Creger, a former resident of Peru. Mrs. Creger was a sister of Mrs. Julia Clifton of Peru and Sam Powell of Winterset.
Burial was to be made in the Peru cemetery.
