SAMUEL C. BARROW DIED LAST SUNDAY

Well Known Farmer of North Branch Was 82 Years of Age

Samuel C. Barrow, a well known farmer of the North Branch community for many years, died at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines Sunday. He was 82 years of age.

Mr. Barrow was born in Polk county on March 21, 1864, a son of Seth W. and Martha M. Barrow. Most of his life was spent in Madison county.

His nearest surviving relative is a brother, John D. Barrow.

Funeral services were held here Tuesday from Anderson's home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. W. P. Gordon, pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the McDonald cemetery in Jefferson township.
