DORIS TOLAND, Council Bluffs

Former Winterset resident, Doris Toland, 77, died August 17, 1993 in Council Bluffs. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Winterset Cemetery.

Miss Toland was born May 1, 1916 in Winterset to Owen and Ida Toland. She was a teacher in the Winterset area before moving to Council Bluffs where she taught until retiring in 1981.

McCurdy Funeral Home in Council Bluffs handled the funeral arrangements.
