EVELYN TOBIN, St. Charles

Evelyn Euella Tobin, 88, of St. Charles died of a respiratory ailment Aug. 12, 1997, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services were held Sat., Aug. 16, 1997, at the St. Charles Parish Church there with the Rev. Ed
Poston officiating. Burial was at the St. Charles Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 14, 1909, to August and Ada (Boblett) Kuster in Guthrie County. She married William Tobin on Feb. 23, 1927, in Adair. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Community Club, AM Vets in Des Moines, and the St. Charles Parish Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son; one son-in-law; one sister, and one brother-in-law.

Surviving relatives include three daughters, Darlene Graham of Truro, Pat Nehring and husband Carl of St. Charles, and Dixie Palmer and husband Gale of Weatherford, Okla.; one brother, Dale Kuster and wife Norene of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
