Helen Marie Keesey, 93, died Aug. 3, 2004, at Winterset Care Center South.
Funeral services were held Friday Aug. 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Van Meter with Pastor Richard Jordan officiating. Burial was at Trinity Church Cemetery.
Helen Keesey was born April 10, 1911, in Madison County to William and Nellie (Parkins) Fundinger. On Aug. 17, 1936, she married Floyd R. Keesey at the Lutheran parsonage in Van Meter. She had previously been married to Walter Eisele, who preceded her in death. She spent most of her lifetime in Madison County, having moved to Winterset in 1976. Helen held jobs at Look Magazine, Savory Hotel, Ted Samon Poultry Company and F. W. Means Towel Company. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Van Meter.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, an infant daughter, and a brother, Ralph "Bud" Fundinger.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Addy and Joan Hardy, both of Winterset; and 36 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
Funeral arrangements were hendled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset.
