Services for Florence Mae Keesler, 89, Winterset, who died at the Care Center South on Nov. 1, were held Monday, Nov. 5 at the United Methodist Church in Lorimor with the Rev. Mark Hagy officiating. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 1, 1894 at Mt. Etna, Iowa. Her parents were James R. and Lillian Jones Bennett. In 1919 she was married at Macksburg to Harold Morris Keesler.

Mrs. Keesler also lived at Barney and later moved to Lorimor. She worked as a check-out clerk at a grocery store.

Survivors include sons, Wayne of Adel and Carol of Glendale, Ariz.; a daughter, Geraldine Keesler of Lorimor; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, Louis Bennett of Pacific Palisades, Calif.; and Alden Bennett of Des Moines; sisters, Elsie Ahnen of Galveston, Texas, Edna Creswell of Dexter, and Edith Huffman, Bertha McKenzie and June Weaver, all of Creston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, two daughters and a son.
