JERRY LEE TITUS, Winterset

Jerry Lee Titus, 22, of Winterset died March 6, 1999, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday, March 10) at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset with Pastors L. Duane Churchman and Danny Thomas officiating. Burial was at McDonald Cemetery in Jefferson Township, Madison County.

Jerry Titus was born Nov. 12, 1976, in Des Moines to Randy Lee and Nancy Sue (Cannon) Titus. A resident of Winterset for the past 18 years, he was employed in the warehouse by Excell Marketing of Des Moines. Jerry was a member of the First Church of the Open Bible in Des Moines and the church choir.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Nancy Titus of Winterset; two brothers, Patrick and Kyle Titus, both of Winterset, his fiancee, Shana Sirdoreus of Winterset; grandparents Lee and Joann Titus and Virginia and Robert Crouse, all of Des Moines, and Winston and Judy Cannon and Laura Ingram, all of St. Charles; and great-grandparents Dorothy and Chuck Hamell and Ruby T. Titus, all of Des Moines.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.

Note: burial was at North McDonald Cemetery.
