CHARLES DAVIS DIES AT 67 YEARS OF AGE
Stricken Saturday at Farm Home in Jefferson Township
Charles E. Davis, a resident of Madison county for most of his life, died Saturday at his home northeast of Winterset in Jefferson township. Death came suddenly, due to a heart attack. He was 67 years of age.
Mr. Davis was born March 5, 1878, the son of James M. and Arvilla Davis. He spent his life as a farmer, and was well known in his community.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rose Trester and Mrs. Mae Prohosky of Earlham, and a brother, John Davis.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the United Brethren cemetery.
