JANIECE TINNELL, Nebraska

Margery Janiece Tinnell, 64, of Dannebrog, Neb., died of cancer Feb. 24, 2006, at her home.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 27, at Livingston-Sondermann Chapel in Grand Island, Neb., with Stanley Morrison and Leslie Pountney officiating. Burial was at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Island.

Janiece Tinnell was born Nov. 9, 1941, in Winterset to James and Dorothy (Lyddon) Vlieger and was a 1959 graduate of Winterset High School. On Oct. 18, 1963, she married Harry Tinnell in Winterset. Janiece had been involved in child care work plus helping her husband with their Interclean business.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Imogene DeRaad.

She is survived by her husband, Harry, of Dannebrog, Neb.; one daughter, Janette Williams of Dannebrog, Neb.; three sons, Jeffrey Tinnell of Minatare, Neb., and Jerrold Tinnell and James Tinnell, both of Chapman, Neb.; a sister, Joyce Klenk of Marshalltown; three brothers, Paul Vlieger of Norwalk, James Vlieger of Peru and Kenneth Vlieger of Indianola; and 10 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
