LOUIS JUNGST OF MACKSBURG DIES

Retired Farmer's Death Occurred in Illinois On Oct. 23

Louis Jungst, life long resident of the Macksburg and Afton communities, died Monday, Oct. 23, at DeKalb, Ill. He was 77 years of age.

Mr. Jungst was a retired farmer and his residence had been at Macksburg until recently. He was born at Afton May 2, 1890, a son of Louis Jungst Sr., and Louisa Wattel Jungst.

He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Jungst was married at Murray on March 1, 1920, to Florence Madison. Her death occurred March 10, 1965.

Surviving are three children Dale Jungst of DeKalb, Paul Jungst of Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. Waunita McDonald of Roselle, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. A. P. Kelly of Creston; two brothers, Arthur Jungst of Afton and Walter Jungst of Minnesota; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Coen Home for Funerals in Creston, conducted by the Rev. Azel Smith. Burial was made in Graceland cemetery at Creston.
