Phil Johnston, St. Charles

Phil R. Johnston, 71, of St. Charles died Aug. 27, 1994 at his rural home. Funeral services were Aug. 30, 1994 at the St. Charles Parish in St. Charles. Burial was at the St. Charles Cemetery.

He was born in Madison County to Raymon and Ola (Coltrane) Johnston. He had farmed near St. Charles for the past 52 years and was a member of the St. Charles Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Edythe of rural St. Charles; one son, Johnnie Johnston of St. Charles; one daughter, Sharry Hanna of St. Charles; and two granddaughters.
