Services for Lois E. Johnson of Winterset were held Saturday, May 30, at Collins Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Updike officiating. Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday, May 27, at Madison County Memorial Hospital at the age of 85.
Born in Carlisle, Arkansas on Feb. 2, 1896, she married George W. Johnson at Crown Point, Indiana. Mr. Johnson passed away on October 29, 1971.
A homemaker, she attended the Zion Federated Church and was active in the church Women's Group.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles; one brother and one sister.
Survivors include two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
