Aaron Johnson, Winterset

Services for Aaron Johnson, 52, Winterset, who died at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on Monday, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Collins Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was formerly of Des Moines. Survivors include his mother, Ina Crouse of Winterset.

Visitation will be Wednesday night Sept. 27, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Aaron Johnson, Winterset

Services for Aaron Johnson, 52, Winterset, who died Sept. 25 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. John Shaull officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Brewton, Ala., on Oct. 1, 1936, he was the son of Aaron and Ina Cates Johnson, Sr. He was a sales representative for Commtron Corp. of Des Moines and had lived in Des Moines for seven years, coming from San Diego, Calif. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Inglewood, Calif. and had lived in Winterset the past six months.

Survivors include his mother of Winterset; daughters, Jamie Walker of San Diego, Calif., and Jana Johnson of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Lloyd H. Johnson of Winterset; and a grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father.
