Mrs. Harley E. Gamble, a Madison county resident for 45 years, died on Wednesday of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. L. Laizure, of near Winterset. She was 84 years of age.

Mrs. Gamble was the former Mary Grace Leach, and was born at LaCrosse, Wisc., on Nov. 23, 1860. In 1894 she was married to Harley E. Gamble, of Tekaniah, Neb. They came to this county about 45 years ago.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Rebecca lodge and the Legion auxilliary.

She also leaves a son, Repert Gamble, of Cleveland, O., and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
