BILL THOMAS, Winterset

Bill T. Thomas, 76, of Winterset died of a respiratory ailment March 31, 1994 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were April 4, 1994 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial was at the Laurel Hill Cemetery.

He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and was born in Kirksville, Mo., and moved to Winterset eight months ago from Des Moines. He was a retired electrician for Iowa Power and Light Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II and had been a member of the Lutheran Church and the electricians union. He also was active in Boy Scouts of America.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Barbara; one daugher, Louetta Ewoldsen of Winterset; one son, John of Norwalk; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
