Funeral Services For H. H. Janes

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, September 2, 1978 at 2 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home for Hase H. Janes, 80, of Indianola who died there Friday, September 1, 1978, at the Good Samaritan Center. He was the son of Thomas and Eletha Brown Janes, born April 8, 1898 in Patterson, Iowa.

Mr. Janes was a resident of Madison County for five years. He lived in Des Moines for 28 years and for 20 years was employed as a freight loader with the Burlington Railroad. He retired in 1963.

Mr. Janes was married to Florence Brown on February 15, 1923, in Madrid, Iowa. She survives her husband. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, a half brother, three sisters and a half sister.

Officiating at Saturday's funeral was Rev. Scott Grotewold of Winterset. Burial was made at the Union Chapel Cemetery.
